THE PUBLIC CHARITABLE OBJECTS OF THE TRUST
FINANCIAL AID
This aid is disbursed to the underprivileged within our community on a periodical basis. Applications are received from the poor and the needy for educational, medical aids and for poverty relief. The applications are carefully scrutinized and only after credentials are established, monetary aid is given as per prescribed norms laid down by the Trust. A special committee sits to personally interview each applicant and scrutinize the applications.
MEDICAL AID
Medical Aid is sought for by a large number of the poor especially the old and the ailing. Medical costs being what they are to-day , the poor can ill afford the same and hence many perforce forgo the necessary treatment. However no application is entertained without the Doctor’s letter and without authentic bills for medicines bought. After verifying the above and ascertaining their authenticity, medical aid is disbursed as per the levels set for different ailments. Our sincere thanks to Dr. Behram Bunsha and Dr. Binaz Mistry for their care, comfort and treatment of these poor brethren of ours.
EDUCATIONAL AID
Here too aid is disbursed on receipt of applications from school and college students. Special attention is paid to the scholastic performance of every applicant.Failures are not entertained. The per capita income of each applicant in this category is calculated, the fee structure of the course opted for considered, a personal interview of the applicant conducted and then only is educational aid disbursed.
POVERTY RELIEF
These are the real poor of our community - definitely and beyond doubt the below poverty line members of our community! Monetary aid is disbursed once a quarter to these poor so that they do not spend money on conveyance every month to collect their doles. Aid is disbursed in January, April, July and October of every year. Our sincere thanks to the Management, Principal and Staff of Dadar Athornan Madressa for allowing us the use of the premises free of cost for this purpose since the very beginning of this scheme i.e. for over two decades.
