CHILDRENS SUMMER CAMP 2018:

An activity started in the recent past and which has won great favour is the SUMMER CAMP which is being organized by the Trust since the last five years. Every summer immediately after Final Exams the Trust holds a Summer Camp for children from 6 to 13 yeas. This will be our 6th Summer Camp – the first four were held in Khandala, courtesy D.C. School. Last year the Camp entitled WIZ KIDS was held at the Petit Sanitorium, Bordi. We are exceedingly grateful to Sir Dinshaw Petit for the use of the Sanitorium totally free of cost and for the very generous donation of Rs.20,000/- as subsidy towards meals for the children. Scrumptuous meals are served to the children. Last year Mr. Jamshed Dandivala of Navsari served three meals plus afternoon snacks at very reasonable rates. For the last six years the W.Z.O. Trust has been sponsoring Transport to ferry the children to and fro. All this helps us to keep the Camp Rates highly affordable/ It is an activity of the Trust that is eagerly awaited. WISZ KIDS 2009 will once again be at Bordi, this year. Games, outdoor and indoor activities, inter action together with imparting religious knowledge and awareness of our culture and the inculcating of team spirit is especially emphasized. Run by the one and only and clearly beloved SIGI SIR (Navroze Siganporia) it is indeed one of the most popular activities of the Trust. Our sincere gratitude goes to Hilla Builders for sponsoring give away gifts to all participating children. The numbers keep increasing every year. More than 130 children participate. Children from the weaker sections are taken FREE.
